WACS is a Paris-based global federation of chefs' associations. It has 72 member countries with 2.2 million chefs from around the world. According to Mr P. Soundararajan, Corporate Executive Chef, Mahindra Holidays & Resorts India and General Secretary of Indian Federation of Culinary Associations, which is an apex body of WACS, this year 40 chefs have been certified globally by WACS and of which 10 are from India.
