Outlook States - Karnataka Prestige plans resort hotel with Marriott tie-up Our Bureau Bangalore, April 9 The Prestige Group, leading property developers, will be setting up a luxury resort hotel here in association with Marriott International at a cost of Rs 800 crore. The 300-room property, with a golf course and ultra luxurious villas set against the backdrop of the Nandi Hills, will be ready for occupation in three years. The hotel will be managed by Marriott International. The project, called the `Prestige Golfshire’, has been approved by the Karnataka Tourism Board, said Mr Irfan Razack, Chairman and Managing Director, Prestige Group. Mr Razack said “Prestige Group is happy to partner with Mariott International in developing this world class luxury resort in Bangalore”. The Rs 550-crore Group has projects across all asset classes and has completed more than 130 projects. Aggressive growth plans in the residential, commercial, retail, and hospitality domains will see the Prestige Group extending its imprint to Goa, Hyderabad, Mangalore, Kochi and Chennai in the coming years, Mr Razack said.
