IIM-L launches programme for working executives

New Delhi, April 10 Indian Institute of Management Lucknow has introduced a year-long residential executive programme at its Noida campus. The International Programme in Management for Executives (IPMX) has 46 students in the first batch.

“The IPMX is a programme that has a strong in-built international module, where a term is spent at Faculty of Management, McGill University, Montreal, Canada,” Mr Devi Singh, Director, IIM Lucknow said.

There are 46 students in the maiden programme. The average GMAT score for the group is over 700 and they have an average of 10 years plus experience.

These students, or mid-career executives, are already well-experienced candidates and come from diverse functional areas, but a large majority are technical graduates. Around 45 per cent of the students are from the IT and technical backgrounds, while the rest of the students belong to sectors such as telecom, power, banking, finance, and defence.
