Navy seminar on indigenisation

The naval dockyard is holding a two-day seminar and exhibition on indigenisation `Indsem 2008' from Tuesday, with focus on the efforts being made by the Navy towards indigenisation. According to a press release issued by the Eastern Naval Command, it will provide an opportunity for the Navy and the industry to interact with each other. In the exhibition, the products will be showcased. Over 250 delegates will attend the seminar. Vice-Admiral Raman Prem Suthan, the Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief, the Eastern Naval Command, will be the chief guest at the naval dockyard. Mr Atul Kirloskar, the Chairman of the Confederation of Indian Industries National Committee on Defence, will deliver the keynote address. - Our Bureau
