Realty expo in Mumbai from Thursday

Mumbai, April 14 Over 100 builders and developers will showcase around 1,500 projects at the real estate and housing finance exhibition here at the Bandra Kurla Complex, MMRDA Grounds, from April 17 to 20.

The exhibition is organised by MCHI and co-organised by LIC Housing Finance and State Bank of India. Other partners of the expo include HDFC, ICICI and Axis bank, besides DHFL.

Mr Mayur Shah, convenor of the exhibition, said, “This being home buying season, buyers want to settle in their new homes before school starts in June, the exhibition will an opportunity to select properties of choice and budget.”

The residential category will have flats, duplex, apartments, penthouses, bungalows and row houses.

The commercial segment will have retail outlets in malls, multiplexes, shops, office premises, corporate parks, IT parks and SEZs. In the financial products section, about 15 housing finance institutions and banks will offer spot loans and home insurance.

The properties on display will be from cities such as Mumbai, Pune, Goa, Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Jaipur, Kochi, Lucknow, Nagpur and Nashik. A few developers from Dubai and Australia are also participating, according to the organisers.

JOB fair

The expo will host to a job fair specially designed for the real estate industry. The realtors are looking for professionals such as architects, designers, engineers and accountants, besides those with specialisation in customer service, administration and marketing.
