Coastal Training videos to hit market

Owing to demand from domestic companies, Coastal Training Technologies India Pvt Ltd plans to make available its training videos to the Indian market. The company, founded in the US, produces instructional/ education-based audio-video content for industries such as electrical, chemical manufacturing, information technology, education and banks.

The content of the videos focuses primarily on aspects such as work safety, health hazards, cleanliness, work ethics, soft skills development and information on a specific technology/ process. The company holds intellectual property rights for all its 10,000 videos and launches 100-200 new videos each year.

Speaking to Business Line, Mr Balaji Sreenivasan, Managing Director, said the company was in the process of translating most of this content into Indian languages such as Tamil and Hindi for the domestic market. “There is demand for such content from banks, IT companies and petrochemical companies,” he said. Reliance Industries, Ennore Port, Apollo Hospitals, Hyundai Motors and IIT Madras are some clients of the company.
