Population control to curb inflation

Among the many other steps being taken to control inflation, population control is also equally important to reduce the demand for foodgrains, vegetables, edible oils, pulses and other essential commodities. Prices will rule high when the supply is inadequate and the demand is growing.

Day-by-day the number of the mouths to be fed goes on increasing by leaps and bounds, but there is not enough production and supply of the essential commodities. Therefore the demand of the hour is to control the population explosion at any cost, particularly leaving aside vote-bank motivated political policies.
