Rallis net dips to Rs 8 cr

Mumbai, April 15

Rallis India Ltd net profit has dipped to Rs 8 crore for the quarter ending March 31. In the year ago quarter the company has clocked Rs 10 crore profit. For the quarter, the net sales has increased by 9.92 per cent to Rs 144 crore. In the previous quarter, the sales was Rs 131 crore. For the quarter the total expenditure has also increased to Rs 137 crore (Rs 123 crore). Consumption of raw material has increased to Rs 78 crore for the quarter from Rs 54 crore in the previous quarter. For the financial year ending March 31, the net profit has increased by 115.43 per cent to Rs 125.19 crore (Rs 58.11 crore). The net sales for year have increased by 7.64 per cent to Rs 692.15 crore (Rs 643 crore). The EBIDTA margin for the year has increased to 12 per cent as against 7 per cent last year. Company's board has also recommended payment of dividend of 7.5 per cent to preference shareholders and a dividend of 160 per cent to the equity shareholders. - Our Bureau
