Low radiation doseAccording to him, even imaging hearts of irregular beats at a very low radiation dose compared to other contemporary multi slice CT systems is possible with the new system. The dual-source CT scan is also capable of detecting even small coronary artery blocks within very short time, non-invasively and accurately. “The machine captures one’s health from inside out, revealing coronary arteries, nodules in the lungs, potential tumours in abdomen, brain and pelvis,” Mr David Mathieson, Global Sales Manager of Siemens CT, said.
