Production at Euro Ceramic facility
Mumbai, April 16
Tile manufacturer Euro Ceramics Ltd has commenced
production of sanitary ware at its existing 130 acre
facility at Bhachau (Kutch) with an annual capacity of
11,000 tonnes. The unit has been set up at a cost of Rs 77
crore. Mr Nenshi Shah, Managing Director, Euro
Ceramics said, "The sanitary ware market in India is
growing at about 15-18 per cent annually." Euro Ceramics
is also expanding its tile segment. In addition to sanitary
ware, Euro has an installed capacity of 79,971 tonnes p.a.
of vitrified tiles, 45,000 tpa of calcarious tiles and 1,800
tpa of aluminium extruded sections. The company has
plans to expand capacities in existing product categories
and to launch new generation products. Capital for the
expansion will be through internal accruals and debt. -
