Tech Mahindra’s Chennai centre

Mumbai, April 16

Telecom solutions vendor Tech Mahindra has spent about Rs 30 crore for enhancing its presence in Chennai. The company has set up a 1.2 lakh sq ft facility at Paranur near Chennai, which will house about 1,400 software engineers. Tech Mahindra will leverage this new facility at Chennai to expand its telecom R&D business in addition to development of its telecom application business, the company said in a press note. The company will also service telecom equipment manufa cturers and service providers from this centre. This will be Tech Mahindra’s seventh development centre in the country.–
