Mergers & Acquisitions Kingfisher, Deccan merger verdict Bangalore, April 18 Armed with the endorsement of stakeholders and shareholders, the merger of Deccan Aviation with Kingfisher Airlines is but a formality with the Karnataka High Court posting its hearing for its verdict in June. At a court ordered meeting on Thursday, all the stakeholders and shareholders voted on the merger of the two airlines. The boards of both the airlines had earlier agreed to merge the airlines. Mr Vijay Mallya at a press conference on Thursday said that with the appro val of the Karnataka high Court, the merger will create India’s single largest carrier with a market share of 30 per cent, 8 per cent ahead of Jet Airways. — Our Bureau More Stories on : Mergers & Acquisitions | Airlines
