Percept consolidates group cos

Mumbai, April 18

Entertainment, media and communications company Percept, which operated under the name Percept Holdings – owning and operating 20 different companies in its sector — has renamed its lead operating and holding company as Percept Ltd. It has brought in its operating brands as divisions. Joint ventures and offshore entities will remain at the subsidiary (investment) level. KPMG India was the consulting advisor to the entire restructuring process. Under the new str ucture, the 7 group companies — Percept Picture Company, Percept Profile India, Perspectrum, PDM India, Percept Out-of-Home, P9 Integrated and Percept Talent Management, have come together as divisions of Percept Ltd. Percept/H, Hakuhodo Percept, AMO Communications, IBD India, Percept Swift, Percept Gulf, PDM International, Clea PR, Percept Profile Gulf, Allied Media, Percept Knorigin and Media Agency Middle East are now subsidiaries. Having achieved a capitalised billing of Rs 2,000 crore in the financial year 2008, Percept Ltd targets a 40 per cent growth to achieve an estimated capitalised billing of Rs 2,800 crore for the current financial year.
