Krishnapatnam port receives first vessel

Hyderabad, April 20 The Krishnapatnam Port Trust, which is expected to become a main gateway for the hinterlands of south and central India, has announced that it has received the first vessel on its berth, a 160-meter long vessel m.v. Faruke.

“The vessel is carrying two Gottwald mobile harbour cranes and is berthed using dedicated tugs, with in-house expertise,” a release said.
