Axis Bank opens new branch

Madurai, April 22

Axis Bank has opened a branch at Ilanji, near here, recently. The bank with a customer base of 90 lakh, has a network of 655 branches in more than 407 cities and towns, 20 extension counters and 2,778 ATMs across the country, said Mr C.P. Rangarajan, President of the bank, in a press release. Its market capitalisation as on April 15 stood at Rs 27,320 crore. The bank has presence in Singapore, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Dubai, he added.
