Our Bureau

Thiruvananthapuram, April 22 Over the next few days, the employees at Technopark (Thiruvananthapuram) will be celebrating 12 years of the park’s existence with Tech-a-Break, an annual cultural festival.

The festival, which was formally launched on Monday with a rally in which all Technopark-based companies took part, includes inter-company music, dance and fun-based sports competitions, concerts and a quiz.

Special attractions at this year’s Tech-a-Break are ‘Techies Super Star Singer’, a group song contest with a difference and ‘Save Planet Earth’, a programme in which teams develop innovative ways to bring to light various issues concerning the earth.

Tech-a-Break will end on Saturday with a mega closing event. The culmination of the week-long festival is a musical extravaganza, Pop Technopark, which will feature a line-up of diverse music performances.

On the occasion, prizes will be distributed to the winners of the various competitive events, with the company that wins the maximum number of points at the festival receiving the ‘Champions Cup’.
