Steps down from post

Chennai, April 23

Mr Gopal Srinivasan, Whole-time Director of TVS Electronics, has relinquished his position in the company. He however, will continue to be a director on the board, according to an announcement to the stock exchange.

Mr M. Somasundaram, formerly Vice-President of the Transaction Products and Business Group, has been appointed Executive Vice-President. This is in the context of the company’s restructuring plans with an aim to becoming Rs 500- crore company in the next three years. Speaking to Business Line last year, Mr Srinivasan had said the company needed a young and strong team to boost revenue growth that had been flat for a few previous quarters. –
