Tiruchi, April 25 Marketing of Airtel products through the Indian Oil Corporation retail outlets was inaugurated in the city on Friday. The arrangement was in tune with the memorandum of understanding reached between Airtel and Indian Oil recently.

Speaking to presspersons after inaugurating the sale of the products at an Indian Oil pump in the city, the Divisional Retail Sales Manager of Indian Oil(Tiruchi), Mr D. Sureshkumar, said that the large network of the Indian Oil, in both rural and urban centres, would facilitate marketing growth for Airtel.

The Chief Executive Officer, Airtel (Tamil Nadu), Mr Rajiv Rajagopal, said that Airtel’s products, including sim cards, re-charge and easy re-charge coupons, would be sold at Indian Oil pumps.

There are also plans to introduce the sale of select brands of handsets with which Airtel had entered into an agreement.
