Allahabad Bank Day

Kolkata, April 25

The Zonal Office, Kolkata (Metro) of Allahabad Bank on Thursday commemorated the bank's 144th Foundation Day, the bank being established on the banks of the Ganga in 1865 at Allahabad. On the day, a few important customers were invited to share their experiences of banking with Allahabad Bank through the years. It was stated by bank officials that the business of Allahabad Bank had crossed Rs 120,000 crore and that by the end of the current year, nearly half of the bank's branches were expected to be networked. - Our Bureau
