AP order on vehicle tax payment

Hyderabad, April 27

All the motor cab (taxi) and other vehicle owners in Andhra Pradesh have been asked to pay the quarterly tax on or before April 30 to avoid seizure of vehicles and penalty. According to a release from the Transport Commissioner, the AP Motor Vehicles Taxation Act, 1963 was amended by Act 17, 2008 which had come into force from January 2, 2008. The tax can also be paid through e-Seva counters, the release added. - Our Bureau
