The Hindu Business Line : R. Seshadri is President, Ad Club Madras

Chennai, April 28 Mr R. Seshadri, Managing Director, Anugrah Madison Advertising Pvt Ltd, has been elected the 37th President of the Advertising Club Madras at the AGM held on April 25. He was earlier Vice-President of the Club.

According to an official statement, Mr Seshadri, who joined the Executive Committee of the Club in 2001, has held several positions over the years including that of Secretary during 2003-05.

The other office-bearers elected to the Executive Committee for 2008-09 are Mr P. Subramanian of Interface Communications who has been named Vice-President; Mr B.S. Raj Narain of Optima Marketing Solutions Pvt Ltd, Secretary; Mr S. Sadhasivam of Layam Advertising, Treasurer; and Mr L.V. Navneeth of Radio One, Joint Secretary.

Mr Ranju Kumar Mohan of Henkel India Ltd was the immediate past-President of the Ad Club.

The committee members comprise Mr Rajeev Nambiar of Hello FM; Ms Bagyalakshmi Nagarajan (Out-of-Home Media); Mr Ninan Tharian (The Times of India); Mr Prakash Dharmarajan (Ogilvy & Mather); Mr Seshadri Iyer (TV 18) and Mr M. Karthic Moorthy (Elegant Publicities).

The co-opted members are Mr V. Kalidas of The Hindu, Mr Jagannath Ramaswamy (Crystal) and Mr E. R. Sreevatsa (Srichakra Communications), the statement added.
