Our Bureau Mumbai, April 28 Reliance Energy Ltd standalone net profit for the fourth quarter ending March 31 stood at Rs 311 crore against Rs 237 crore in the year ago quarter, an increase of 31 per cent. Its standalone total income stood at Rs 1,977 crore against Rs 1,890 crore a year ago, it said in a statement. The company’s board has approved payment of final dividend of Rs 6.3 per share amounting to a payout of Rs 173 crore for the reporting year. The company has also announced changing its name to Reliance Infrastructure Ltd, as it wants to reflect the current nature of businesses. Shares of the company closed at Rs 1,426.10 on the BSE, up 4.95 per cent from the previous close. Reliance Natural Resources Ltd has reported standalone net sales of Rs 202.7 crore for the period of 15 months ending March 31. In the pervious comparable period the net sales was Rs 150.6 crore, clocking an increase of 34 per cent. Net profit has increased to Rs 68.5 crore from Rs 29.8 crore.
