Orient Press fire loss

Coimbatore, April 28

Orient Press Ltd has informed that a major fire broke out at the company’s factory located at Silvassa in the carton division on April 25. The estimate of the loss of the fixed assets and stocks is being worked out, but at present it is estimated to be Rs 15 crore which is fully covered by insurance. It is expected that it may take six months to restore normalcy in production. —Our Bureau
