Zydus Cadila net sales rise 27%

Ahmedabad, April 29 For the year ended March 31, 2008, Cadila Healthcare Ltd (Zydus Cadila) has registered a total operating income of Rs 2,325 crore, a 27 per cent rise over Rs 1,829 crore in the same period last year on a consolidated basis.

Taking stock of the company’s growth in operations, the board of directors has recommended a dividend of 90 per cent (Rs 4.50/share of Rs 5 each). Net operating profit was 23 per cent higher at Rs 254 crore. Riding high on the back of a strong all-round performance in all spheres of the business, the group’s formulations exports, API and consumer business touched new peaks, according to a release.
