Aptech Q1 net zooms

Mumbai, May 1 City-based IT education firm Aptech Ltd has recorded a 150 per cent growth in standalone net profit for the first quarter ended March 31 to Rs 57 lakh from Rs 22 lakh reported in the same quarter a year ago.

Revenues for the quarter were up 18 per cent at Rs 25.7 crore (21.8 crore). Due to the impending restructuring of Aptech’s holding in its Chinese joint venture, accounts for the first quarter could not be consolidated, pending receipt of the appropriate financial information, according to a statement from the company.
