New Products & Services SatNav tool for laptops, desktops Hyderabad, May 1 IT products company SatNav Technologies has announced the launch of navigation and maps service for laptops and desktops targeting individuals. The company had earlier rolled this out for companies. SatNav’s product SatGuide provides navigation and planning facility for laptops and desktops. The geographical positioning system (GPS) based navigation can be used as an efficiency enhancement and planning tool. The Managing Director of SatNav, Mr Amit Prasad, in a statement said “our focus on GPS solutions for the mass market, now goes a step further with SatGuide that can be installed in every household that has a desktop or laptop. The larger screen of your system ensures arrive at the best plan of travel.” To access maps on desktops, there is no need for Internet connection once SatGuide is installed. Sitting in one’s office, it is now possible to feed in a start point, end point and get the complete details of distance, time to travel etc. Laptop users need not carry additional device travelling to other cities in the country.
