CII team with PM
Assures support: Mr K.V. Kamath, ICICI Bank CEO, who took over as CII President, accompanied by Mr Venu Srinivasan who became Vice-President, Mr Chandrajit Banerjee, the newly appointed Director General and Mr Tarun Das, the chamber’s Chief Mentor, met the Prime Minister, Dr Manmohan Singh, on Wednesday. They assured the Prime Minister that they would take forward his message on the need for industry to participate in the Government’s efforts towards controlling inflation.
