Mergers & Acquisitions Allegis buys TVA Infotech Bangalore, May 2 Allegis Group Inc, a $6-billion privately-held US based company with interests in staffing, permanent hiring and technical services outsourcing, has acquired TVA Infotech Pvt. Ltd, a Bangalore-based IT recruitment firm for an undisclosed sum. The acquisition is expected to strengthen Allegis’ capabilities in the human capital market space in the country and enhance its recruiting capabilities, according to Mr Pravin Tatavarti, Managing Director, Allegis India. “ ;While Allegis will infuse capital into the company, we have the talent to strengthen our market domination in the recruiting space in the country,” said Mr Gautam Sinha, CEO, TVA Infotech. “Allegis will provide us with scaleable process and systems so that we can further strengthen our recruitment process outsourcing services in India.” TVA now called TVA Allegis would look at expanding its operations in Chennai and Hyderabad and add Pune and Mumbai to its operational footprint in the next three months.
