Service tax Registration Week

The Central Excise Department in Mangalore will observe `Registration Week' for new service tax payers from May 5 to 9. A press release by the Kanara Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) said here on Friday that `help desk' of Central Excise will be set up in the premises of KCCI for observing `Registration Week'. New service tax payers can take benefit of this on-thespot service tax registration. - Our Bureau
