`Airtel poised for signal from MTN'

London, May 3 Bharti Airtel Ltd said it could ``move pretty quickly'' if MTN decided to put itself up for sale at its board meeting on Monday, the Financial Times reports on Saturday, citing a company executive. Mr Sunil Bharti Mittal, Chairman and Managing Director of Bharti Airtel, told the FT he had ``been approached by bankers in the last few months in a much more frenzied manner'' but had not yet formally discussed any bid for MTN, the South Africa-based telecommunications group. - Dow Jones
