Knit fair in Tirupur from May 14

Coimbatore, May 3

The 26th edition of India Knit Fair will be held between May 14 and 16 at the IKFA complex in Tirupur. The fair is to be organised by the Apparel Export Promotion Council (AEPC) in association with the Tirupur Exporters Association (TEA). The exhibition will showcase a wide range of knitted garments for men, women and children produced by leading knitwear labels in the country, majority of them from units in the Tirupur region. A communication from the India Knit Fair Asso ciation (IKFA), organisers of the event, said that the fair will be inaugurated by the AEPC Chairman, Mr Rakesh Vaid, and among those to be present at the inaugural meet will be Mr M. Saikumar, Additional Export Commissioner and Zonal Joint Director General of Foreign Trade and Mr A. Sakthivel, Chairman of the fair organising committee. An exporters’ meet will be held on May 13.
