Suven Life gets European patent

Hyderabad, May 5

Suven Life Sciences Ltd secured a product patent for its clinical candidate being developed for the central nervous system (CNS) disorders in the treatment of cognitive impairment from the European Patent Office (EPO). The patent (EP 1581492) has been granted to SUVN-502 which is valid until June 2023. `Granting of this patent to our clinical candidate is more timely and relevant now that the candidate is entering into clinical trials,'' Mr Venkat Jasti, Chief Executive Officer, Suven Life Sciences said in a release. - Our Bureau
