Karnataka Bank review meet

Mangalore, May 5

The Karnataka Bank Ltd conducted a review conference of eight regions for the quarter ended March at Mangalore on Monday. Mr Ananthakrishna, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Karnataka Bank Ltd, who addressed the regional heads, asked them to increase advances on merit of each loan proposal to improve the quality and earn more profit. He also stressed on the need to concentrate on current account savings account and SME segments. A bank release said here that Mr P. Jayarama Bhat, Chief General Manager of the bank, highlighted the features of the quarter. He called for more efforts to achieve the targets under all the vital heads in the current fiscal. - Our Bureau
