Prices gain: Woman trying gold ornaments at a jewellery shop in Hyderabad ahead of Akshaya Tritiya, considered more auspicious for buying gold jewellery. Gold prices gained on Tuesday on bargain hunting and emergence of physical demand. By mid-day Tuesday, the precius metal had increased to $878.30/879.30 an ounce. –
