Bangalore, May 6 HDFC Bank announced a tie-up with ngpay, a mobile commerce network, on Tuesday, to offer fund transfer facility on the mobile phone between two account holders. The bank’s customers, who are registered for fund transfer facility under its Netbanking services, can download the ngpay application on their mobile handsets and begin fund transfers immediately. Funds will be transferred in real-time between two HDFC Bank accounts and within 48 hours to other bank accounts.
