Call rates tad higher

Mumbai, May 6

Call rates closed at 5.5-5.75 per cent, slightly higher than the previous close of 4.75-5 per cent. In the one-day auction under the Liquidity Adjustment Facility, the RBI received and accepted 42 bids for Rs 53,430 crore under reverse repo. There were no repo bids. In the CBLO market, there were 552 trades amounting to Rs 46,420.4 crore in the rate range of 3.75-6.4 per cent.
