Infotech bags 3-year deal from Australian firm

Hyderabad, May 9 Infotech Enterprises Ltd has informed the BSE that the company has bagged a three-year GIS (geographical information system) and data management contract from Powercor Australia & CitiPower Ltd.

Powercor Australia Ltd is one of the largest electricity distribution companies in Australia. This will take the relationship between the two companies to over five years of successful collaboration.

Confidence reinforced

With this deal, Powercor Australia has reinforced continued confidence in Infotech’s abilities to deliver high-quality database management services.

The Chairman and Managing Director, Infotech Enterprises Ltd, Mr B.V.R. Mohan Reddy, in a statement said, “this agreement strengthens and reinforces the successful, long-term relationship Infotech has enjoyed with Powercor Australia”.

The Engineering Manager, CitiPower & Powercor Australia, Mr Craig Hobbs, said, “the award of the three-year contract continues the relationship established with Infotech in 2005”.
