Nod for redemption of shares by NBCC

New Delhi, May 10 The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) on Friday gave its ex-post-facto nod for redemption of 7 per cent non-cumulative preference shares by NBCC Ltd. Although the redemption was due in financial year 2006-07, it was actually done on August 22, 2007 i.e in the financial year 2007-08. The CCEA nod would help in regularisation of redemption. - Our Bureau
