ISB, University of California to offer executive course

Hyderabad, May 10 Indian School of Business (ISB) and the University of California, Los Angeles, Anderson School of Management (UCLA Anderson) will be jointly launching an executive programme in financial engineering.

The programme had been specially designed for financial experts managing large assets for companies and high net worth individuals to develop deep domain knowledge.

To be scheduled between July and December, 2008, it would have four modules on core concepts, quantitative asset management, financial risk management, security research, analysis and valuation. Experts from ISB and UCLA would handle the modules.

“This programme will be extremely beneficial to finance professionals and will equip them with an accurate and precise knowledge of up to date financial economics and financial practice,” Mr M. Rammohan Rao, Dean, ISB said in a release.
