Strategy States - Andhra Pradesh Hydrobaths to set up 10 more boutiques Our Bureau Hyderabad, May 11 Hydrobaths, a supplier of bathtubs, jacuzzis, saunas etc with manufacturing units in Delhi and Bangalore, has set up a Cotto Boutique here. It plans 10 more boutiques by the end of this year. The Executive Director of Hydrobaths, Mr Harsh Butani, said that they now have 16 boutiques in the country selling some of the largest global brands such as Atlas Concorde, Simas and Newform (Italy), Hotsprings of USA and Livetiles of Czechoslovakia. “To this we have added Cotto Boutique in Hyderabad, which is one of the largest manufacturers of tiles and sanitary ware from Thailand and is part of a multi-billion dollar Thai Royal family business,” he said. After inaugurating their 16th outlet in the country, Mr Butani said that the market for niche products is difficult to estimate as there is no specific data but is growing at a rapid pace driven by buoyancy in real estate across the country and new buildings, malls and airports. “Most of the customers come to our stores either referred by users or through the advice given by architects. The company clientele includes large corporate houses such as Reliance and construction company such as Shapoorji Pallonji and Unitech and rich individuals,” he said. The company expects revenues of about Rs 150 crore this year. More Stories on : Strategy | Interiors & Homes | Andhra Pradesh
