The Kerala Task Force on Inland Fisheries and Aquaculture has submitted an action plan to increase inland fish production by 150 per cent to two lakh tonnes over a period of ten years. It also aims at attaining self-sufficiency in the production of quality fish feed within the State and developing ornamental fisheries sector with an emphasis on export.
