Ogilvy India appointments

Bangalore/New Delhi, May 13

The Ogilvy India board has named Ms Simmi Sabhaney as its new President for O&M Bangalore. Ms Sabhaney has been with Ogilvy for around 18 years and has worked on Unilever’s F&B brands, Titan, Madura Garments, ITC Foods, Cadbury’s, WorldSpace, Canara Bank, Skol Breweries, Yahoo, Prestige and Rohan Builders. She has also spent four years in Ogilvy Mumbai working on Unilever’s, Cadbury’s and a USAid funded program, Goli ke Hamjoli. Meanwhile, the board has also appointed Mr Sudhir Sahni as the new President for O&M Delhi. Mr Sahni, an alumni of the Indian Institute of Management- Ahmedabad, has been with the agency for nearly 12 years. He has worked with the agency in Mumbai, led Ogilvy Healthcare for Delhi and Bangalore, and worked on businesses such as American Express, UNICEF Pulse Polio, Seagrams and Coke amongst others. —
