Jupiter Infra Trade mulls solutions for global transactions

Jupiter Infra Trade (JIT), promoted by the Delhi-based Unicon group of companies having interests in financial services, proposes to provide end to end solutions to facilitate global transactions.

“The solutions we will provide will be part of a package comprising establishment of links between global buyers and sellers, making arrangements for procurement, quality inspection, transportation, either by sea or by air, customs and clearance finally ensuring last-mile delivery”, Mr Kunal Awasthy, Chief Executive Officer of JIT, told Business Line.

Areas of operations

JIT’s areas of operations will include infrastructure projects in power, telecom, oil and gas sectors; construction, auto components and medical equipment. “A lot of activities in these fields are currently in progress in the sub-Continent, West and South-East Asia and China and we would like to associate ourselves with it”, Mr Awasthy said pointing out that the company has already opened an office in China and is in the process of opening in Taiwan, Korea and Singapore.

There are plans for entering the CIS countries also. In West Asia, the company proposes to enter into strategic alliances with local trading companies in Dubai, Qatar, Oman, Bahrein and Saudi Arabia.
