Changes mooted recently in the Canadian immigration laws and fresh provisions pertaining to easing of work permit conditions for international students in Canada are proving to be of immense advantage to prospective Indian immigrants who want to work and settle abroad. According to Lt Col (Retd) B.S. Sandhu, CMD, World Wide Immigration and Consultancy Services, migration to Canada has become easier and less time-consuming. People from India in general and Kochi in particular have been successful in migrating to Canada and Australia. In the last 10 years alone, over 2,000 people have immigrated to Canada, he said at a press meet. – Our Bureau
