MRO Tek final dividend at Rs 2

Bangalore, May 15

MRO Tek has declared a final dividend of Rs 2 per share of Rs 5 face value (40 per cent) for the year ended March 31, 2008. With this the company has rewarded its shareholders with the highest dividend of Rs 3 per share or 60 per cent, having already paid an interim dividend of Rs 1 per share in February.

According to a spokesman, the company decided to pay higher dividend as it recorded higher revenue and profits for the financial year. He said also with a comfortable surplus of about Rs 40 crore and no additional capital expenditure during the year MRO felt it should reward its shareholders with higher dividend. The company reported an increase of 49 per cent in its net profit for the fiscal at Rs 15.6 crore against Rs 10.7 crore during the previous year on the total revenue of Rs 139.5 crore, an increase of 21 per cent this year. —
