Moschip ties up with Alliances

Hyderabad, May 15

Moschip Semiconductor Technology Ltd has announced the acquisition of an exclusive licence for technology from Alliances, the licensing division of The TPL Group. The technology licensed is currently used in a range of digital products, including high-end video cameras and camcorders. “This technology will serve as the foundation for MosChip’s new audio and video content processor family,” Mr Bhanu Nanduri, Chief Operating Officer of MosChip Semiconductor , in a statement to the BSE, said. Target applications include digital video recorders, camcorders, still cameras with video capture, HDTV with built-in recorders, set-top boxes, personal computers, and HD video surveillance equipment.
