Mumbai, May 15 Lowe Worldwide confirmed on Thursday the promotion of Lintas India executive Ms Lynn de Souza to Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Lintas Media Group (LMG), effective from May 2008. She continues to be based out of Mumbai.

Ms de Souza was Director-Media Services, Lintas India, where she handled seven specialised media divisions — Initiative Media, Insight, Interactions, Intellect, Digital Initiatives, Media Futures and Second Opinion — which provide media planning, buying and review services to both advertisers and media houses. These units have recently been consolidated into the Lintas Media Group. Lintas Media Group, which she leads, is the third largest player in the country, according to RECMA, billing over $400 million.
