Thai Airways starts `daylight flight'

New Delhi, May 15

Thai Airways is to start a four-times-a-week `daylight flight' between Delhi and Bangkok from May 16. In a statement, the airline has said that the new flight will operate every Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. The flight, which is to be operated with a Boeing 747 aircraft, will offer 388 seats, including 64 seats in business class. The flight will leave Delhi at 12.05 p.m. and arrive in Bangkok at 6 p.m. The launch of the flight will see Thai Airways operating 11 weekly flights to Bangkok from Delhi as the airline already operates a daily night time flight. The airline has also announced that from July 1 it will operate three additional flights a week from both Bangalore and Mumbai to Bangkok. - Our Bureau
