Lanco Hills signs up for Grand Hyatt in Hyderabad

Hyderabad, May 16 Lanco Hills Technology Park, part of the Lanco group, has signed up with affiliates of Global Hyatt Corporation for a 400-room Grand Hyatt, which will be opened by early 2011.

This will be Grand Hyatt’s second hotel in Hyderabad. The Park Hyatt Hyderabad is slated for opening in early 2010.

This 400-room hotel is part of a 100-acre Lanco Hills township development in Manikonda. The Director and Chief Executive Officer of Lanco Hills, Mr S. Pochender, said that the project is located about 1 km from the financial district and close to Hitech City.

The Senior Vice President of real estate and development of Hyatt Hotels and Resorts, Mr Ratnesh Verma, in a statement said Hyderabad is now recognised as an important global destination for information technology and life sciences research.

This is part of Grand Hyatt’s initiative to expand its brand presence in India and we look forward to association with the Lanco Group, he said

Leading designers, including DP Architects, Singapore, and interior designers Wilson Associates, Singapore, have been selected for the project.
