New Business PSL bags orders worth Rs 1,225 cr Mumbai, May 19 Pipe manufacturing company PSL Ltd, makers of coated pipes for transporting hydrocarbon/water products and helical submerged arc welded pipes, said it has bagged two orders worth Rs 1,225 crore from HPCL-Mittal Pipelines Ltd and Larsen & Toubro. The company said HPCL-Mittal Pipelines Ltd had placed an order for its entire requirement of steel pipes valued at Rs 917 crore for the Mundra-Bhatinda crude carrying line for the Bhatinda Refinery. The order would be executed this fiscal. L&T has placed an order for full steel pipe requirement, including coating, for its 220-km Barmer water pipeline. The order is to be executed at PSL’s Phagi pipe manufacturing facility near Jaipur. Mr Ashok Punj, Managing Director, PSL Ltd, said, “These deals redefine our position in the market; we expect to complete these projects ahead of schedule.” — Our Bureau More Stories on : New Business | Steel
